Stanley Ng

Stanley has been in Insurance and financing marketing for 22 years. He is an engineering product designer by training. He is a certified Financial Planner. He had been a property investor in commercial and industrial asset in the past 10 years. He is also the founder of cowerkz, one of the 1st few Singapore co-working space in 2013. He also co-founded Coinvestz, an angel investment & business brokerage firm investing in lifestyle business like childcare, f&b, hospitality & trading in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia. He is happily married with 4 kids.

Judge - Mr Fred Then

Fred Then

Fred Then CPCC ACC has worked in 9 start-ups and is a full certified business coach. He developed the Effective Persuasion Method which has helped teams win at local and international business competitions. He works with individuals and teams to uncover subconscious blocks and to quickly remove them.

Fred was the 1st Director of Entrepreneurship Training at Nanyang Technological University of Singapore Ventures (NTUV). He co-developed the successful Nanyang Innovation & Entrepreneurship Workshops (NIEW) which was supported by NTU and SPRING Singapore.

Judge - Matthias Yeo

Matthias Yeo

Matthias is the co-founder and Chief Operating Office of Momentum Z. He responsible for driving organization’s strategy, Merger and Acquisition as well as technology vision globally. He serves as trusted advisor in the area of governance to seniors executives and in strategizing and improving the overall security postures for their organization. He has personally helped many startups in their GTM (Go to Market) strategy and mentored many founders in seeking fundings. He sits on many boards as an advisor or board member in many associations. Previously, He held several roles such as Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) in a Financial Institution, overseeing funding for technology start up. He was also a Chief Technology Officer (APAC) for Symantec and Blue Coat System.

 

Galven Lee

Galven was the co-founder of StandCraft, which helps brands stand out. He craft quick, modular and reusable structures that create memorable experiences. Our expertise lies in retail, event and public spaces. We recently won a national design competition to promote wellness in urban spaces. Our eventual goal is to build ‘smart structures’ that blend online/offline experiences as well as an automated online platform for clients to customise and order products. Prior to that, he built, launched, marketed and ran a travel app at StarHub for 3 years. This taught him to build and run a tech business whilst navigating the challenging corporate hierarchy. Galven am also a published author, tracking the history of the Christian Charismatic Movement in Singapore. Unfolding His Story, co-authored with Georgie Lee, is the main account of the Christian revival in Singapore of the 1970-80s. Besides innovation, technology and interdisciplinary studies, Galven is passionate about the integration of faith and business, as well as helping people live integrated lives.

Alex Tham

Alex is a CEO and Regional Managing Director with Fortune 500 companies, Board Member, Investor and Technoprenuer. He is a strategic Growth Leader with strong background in running Regional PnL, developing & executing strategy, building high performance team, business development, merger and acquisition (M&A) . He leads APAC and SEA PnL of more than US$500m. Alex is an experienced strategist and executor. Grow business from greenfield/startup to annual double digits growth. Strong M&A capability. He leads projects from several millions to US$5 billions. Alex is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned investor and founded 2 tech startups. He is a Chairman and Board of Directors of high growth companies and non-profit organizations.

Tan Ching Ching

Ching Ching joined Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) in January 2016. As Deputy Director (Projects) at The Sandbox, the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Department within NP, she leads the PolyFinTech 100 initiative which was launched jointly by the 5 polys and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to prepare the next generation of manpower for the FinTech industry. She has also been involved in the Global Entrepreneurial and Internship Programme (GEIP) whereby she leads the opening of the Sydney and London markets for start-up internships. She also co-launches an online course, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Finance with London-based Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE), with the aim to upskill the financial services professionals.

Magdalene Loh

 

Ms. Magdalene Loh is Head of Innovation for Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, where she works with the leadership team to discover and empower employees through upskilling and exposure to new ways of working. Prior to her current role, she has worked with a cross-functional team to deliver an industry-first e-claims solution as a Value Stream Lead for E-claims at Prudential. She was also the Head of Government Relations, where she worked with policy makers, practitioners, researchers and finanical services, including skills, innovation, fintech and industry transformation; health and wellness; and community investment. Ms Loh obtained her executive MBAs from INSEAD and Tsinghua University. She also holds an AI in Finance Certificate from the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship and LLB from National University of Singapore.
